When in Mallorca, what's really impressive are the beaches. In this post, I'll essentially share with you a numerous amount of paradisiac places, enjoy !
Cala Pi
First thing first, the place we slept at : Galatzo Maritim Hotel which is a very charming and quiet heaven of peace on the top of a cliff from which you can admire a magnificent belvedere over Mallorca.
We were there for a little October break and it felt amazing for the French girl that I am to walk outside sleeveless and to be able to have sea baths in Autumn, meanwhile in Paris I was already wearing my furry coat.

On this island, you must rent a car because it isn't that easy to move from one part another depending on buses schedules.
Very close to Galatzo is located a fantastic beach called Portals Vells (10 minutes by car) quite wide but still very intimate.

Another place which is a must see in Mallorca is the Gran Folies Beach Club on the western coast of the island, at Cala Llamp next to Andratx Port.
This beach club offers a pool above the sea, you also can lay down on nice canopy beds surrounded by the grass, the pool and the sea. Absolutely pretty and relaxing.

Cala Pi was from afar my favourite discover during this trip. I loved it so much I decided to go there back on the last day. You reach it via a slim trail that splits into two, one way you enter a vaste plato on a cliff with an amazing view (cf : the 2 first pictures) and the other way leads to a clear blue water seashore in between mountains. Definitely was the definition of perfection to me.

Every Mallorca inhabitant will tell you about some caves called Cuevas del Drach, in Porto Cristo, on the eastern side of the island.
These caves represent 1200 m of underground with 25 m depth, which makes it one of the longest underground passage in the world.
You'll discover tons of huge stalactites surrounding translucent lakes.
At a point of the visit, you'll attend a magical show : a quatuor of classical musicians will play a symphony on a little rowing boat with only few lights under the boat to clear them up. Feels completely out of time !

We once got lost and randomly landed in Sant Elm : a very pleasant little city where there's a nice beach with transparent water, a bit crowded but the landscape is worth being seen.
We had lunch in the Restaurant Es Raor very well located and serves pretty good food.

I had seen so many pictures of Es Calo Des Moro on instagram so I couldn't go to Mallorca without passing by there, and it wasn't a loss of time : another paradisiac place to tan on.

You cannot go to Mallorca without having a little walk in its capital, Palma. Not only the beauty of this city is breathe taking but also because the shopping there is SO worthy ! You find everything, from little handmade boutiques to any great brands shops we all know.
You won't miss the huge Cathedral behind the tremendous fountain jet. Very enjoyable at sunset time !

Wandering in Palma
At the airport, we got informed that our flight had been cancelled and let me tell you, this was one of the best news I had ever gotten ! haha
We got sent two more days on a part of the island that we absolutely didn't have time to explore : Alcudia. The Iberostar Ciudad Bianca Hotel was up North, so different from Galatzo but very pretty and entertaining and literally located ON the beach.

The beach was several kilometers long and very touristic but the water was so translucent it was white !
We had a walk on the seaside and enjoyed the sunset on a wooden pier, this was the most perfect last night we could have dreamt of.
